Linda Beach
Email:lsbeach@comcast.net For artist and teacher Linda Sargent Beach, it was a natural progression from using chalk as a teacher to her current focus of painting landscapes in soft pastel. After twelve years as a K-8 art specialist, Linda has retired from public school teaching and is now an instructor in drawing for children and adult painting for recreation in Livermore, CA. She enjoys the challenge of teaching and the perspective that it brings to her own art. A native of Cohasset, MA Linda studied at Wilson College, PA where she received her B. A. She later earned her M. S. in Art Education at Central Connecticut State University. Linda has studied a wide variety of media including black and white darkroom photography in locations such as Canyon Road in Santa Fe and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. |
