Norma Webb
Email:normawebb@comcast.net My landscape paintings could be described as romantically realistic. I particularly enjoy painting the lush golden foothills, conveying the feeling of a fresh breeze softly moving the grass. It is exciting to be able to communicate my appreciation of nature to the viewer. I frequently find myself painting landscapes from faded photographs which I've taken over the past 40 years; many of these scenes have since fallen to 'progress.' I now find myself painting as fast as I can to record our beautiful vistas before they are permanently altered and nothing is left for inspiration except photos. I enjoy participating in local art festivals including Danville’s Art in the Park in October, Scene on the Strait in Martinez, and Art Under the Oaks in Livermore. I am active in the Alamo Danville Artists’ Society and other art associations. |
